COS was prepared from Chitin (Chitosan), which is a polysaccharide isolated from the outer skeleton of insects, crabs and shrimps.
COS shows a tendency to increase the total litter size of sows, significantly increases the number of healthy piglets (body weight > 900g), the average weight and the litter weight of newborn piglets, and effectively improves the level of immune factors and immunoglobulins of sows at 35 and 85 days of gestation.
