A.Wear surgical gloves, select the roll of proper size. Apply stockinette or protective padding over the affected body part.
B.Open the package, immerse the roll of cast in room temperature water (21C -24C) for 4- 6 seconds, and squeeze 2- -3 times to complete penetration of water into the roll, take it out and squeeze water off. (the temperature of water is proportional to set
Time. the higher temperature shorten the set time, while the lower temperature lengthens it temperature of water warmer than 27C,obviously shorten the set time,hardly for the surgery.)
