Characteristics: |
Tin is a white glossy soft metal (orthorhombic and cubic) with ductility.Density: 7.3G/cm3,Boiling point: 2270C,Melting point:231.9C,insoluble in water, soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid. There are three allotropes of white tin (β type), grey tin (α type) and brittle tin (γ level), which are soft and ductile. In case of severe cold (- 33 C or lower), the white tin will become powder like grey tin with a density of 5.75. When the temperature is above 160 C, the white tin will turn into brittle tin. |
Applications: |
1. Mainly used for electronic industry soldering. 2. in the float glass production, molten glass floating on molten tin pool surface is easy to be cooled and solidified. 3. Widely used as a coating material in High-precision electronic products, and other requirements of precision welding products, welding products, general electronics, food industry packaging, automotive and electrical industry, and high-temperature resistant products. |
