Chemshun A-99 alumina ball 99% is composed of greater than 99% alpha alumina and lower than 0.25wt% SiO2.Its high-alumina content, low silica and high strength make this product ideal for high-temperature  and  steam  applications, such as secondary reformers in ammonia processing, where leached silica can coat downstream equipment or foul the catalyst bed.
