A: Ceramic capacitors' capacitance can range from 1pf to 100nf. There are two common colors including earthy yellow and blue. Earthy yellow's rated voltage is generally 50V, 500V and 1KV while the rated voltage of the blue one is usually 500V,  1KV, 2KV, 3KV, 4KV and 6KV.

Q: What is the difference between blue and earthy yellow high voltage ceramic capacitors?
A: the blue ones are epoxy encapsulated, which gives them good moisture resistance and voltage resistance. The earthy yellow ones are wet encapsulation. that makes them damp easily and the voltage resistance is not so good compared to the blue ones.
