" Gellins" X-ray detectable yarn is made of advanced materials.this product is made up of many filaments wrapped with a polyester thread and can be manufactured in a range of linear densities to suit customer specifications.the product performances and processing conditions of X-ray detectable yarn from our company are strictly in accordance with European standards,with the yarns possessing good softness,flexibility and physical properties.Our product can be woven with cotton yarn to produce X-ray detectable gauze,and can also be thermally or ultrasonically bonded to medical fabrics.

 

Properties and Applications

X-ray detectable yarn can be used as a marker thread in the production of X-ray detectable gauze swabs and sponges.this product can be combined with both woven and nonwoven fabrics to give a clear image under X-ray,thus overcoming the problem of surgical gauzes being left behind in patient's organs after surgery.Compared to traditional PVC based threads,X-ray detectable yarn is non-toxic with no side effects,and is safer and more reliable.the stable product performances can assure safety for surgical operations.Current colours are blue and black-other colours can be made available upon request.
