Yttrium oxide Introduction: Chemical formula Y2O3, white with yellow powder, insoluble in water and alkali, soluble in acid.  Mainly used for the manufacture of microwave magnetic materials and military important materials (single crystal;  Yttrium iron garnet, yttrium aluminum garnet and other composite oxides), also used as optical glass, ceramic material additive, high brightness phosphor for large screen TV and other picture tube coatings, etc.  

 

Yttrium oxide Usage:

Mainly used for the production of microwave magnetic materials (single crystal; yttrium iron garnet, yttrium aluminum garnet and other composite oxide), also used as an optical glass, ceramic materials additives, big-screen TV with a high-brightness phosphor and other CRT coatings. Also used in the manufacture of film capacitors and special refractories, as well as high-pressure mercury lamp, a laser, a magnetic bubble storage element and other materials. Added sintering yttrium oxide can effectively reduce the grain size of tungsten alloy.
