Q:When I used UF membranes, main problem is fiber breakage, how is your membrane?

A:Generally there are three causes for fiber breakage:First is abrasion by small particles during air scour, Second is high hydraulic stress to fibers due to too high flux, third is membrane mechanical fatigue. DELTA PVDF fiber has excellent tensile strength and can be applied to high chlorine concentration chemical cleaning, our design and technical team will guide you appropriate design for pretreatment to minimize fiber damage caused by fine particles, and suggest most optimized design flux for UF membrane, fiber breakage is not an issue for our modules.

 

Q:how is your recovery rate? Can I go to 95% or higher recovery?

A:We decide recovery rate by feed water quality analysis and overall process treatment, take ground water as feed water source, usually it is no higher than 90%, we should be aware that even though higher recovery means higher flux and less modules, it is also a main cause for membrane clog.
