NPES-901 is a low molecular weight solid epoxy resin synthesized from NPEL-128 (Liquid DGEBA) and Bisphenol A material with some high purity properties in applications such as high crosslink density, strong adhesion and water resistance Wait. NPES-901 is soluble in a variety of solutions,

for example, NPSN-901X65, NPSN-901X75 and NPSN-901E70 are mainly designed for coatings.

this product should be stored in a ventilated, dry and cool warehouse, away from heat, fire, and direct sunlight. Store in a sealed barrel. the shelf life at room temperature is more than 12 months.

Epoxy resins are generally used together with additives to obtain application value. Additives can be selected according to different purposes. Commonly used additives include the following categories: (1) curing agent; (2) modifier; (3) filler; (4) diluent; (5) others.

the curing agent is an additive. whether it is used as an adhesive, coating, or castable, a curing agent must be added, otherwise the epoxy resin cannot be cured.

Due to different application performance requirements, epoxy resins and additives such as curing agents, modifiers, fillers, and diluents also have different requirements.

Their selection is now briefly described below: Selection of epoxy resins

1. in terms of application, choose resins with a medium epoxy value (0.25-0.45), such as 6101 and 634; when used as a castable, try to choose resins with a high epoxy value (>0.40), such as 618, 6101; resins with low epoxy value (<0.25) are generally used as coatings, such as 601, 604, 607, 609, etc.

2. Select from the mechanical strength. the resin with too high epoxy value has higher strength, but is more brittle; the resin with medium epoxy value has good strength at high and low temperature; the resin with low epoxy value has poor strength at high temperature. Because the strength is related to the degree of crosslinking, the epoxy value is high and the crosslinking degree is high after curing, and the epoxy value is low and the crosslinking degree is low after curing, so the difference in strength is caused.

3. It is not necessary to choose from the operating requirements, and the strength is not required. It is hoped that the epoxy resin can dry quickly and is not easy to run off. the resin with lower epoxy value can be selected; if the permeability and strength are desired, the epoxy resin can be selected.
