1 Product Introduction
TD655-1 emulsified asphalt storage stability tester was developed by Hebei Tianqi Xingzi Testing Equipment Co., LTD. According to T 0655-1993 Emulsified Asphalt Storage Stability Test in JTG E20-2011 "Test Regulations for Asphalt and Asphalt Mixture in Highway Engineering".
this product is suitable for measuring the stability of all kinds of emulsified asphalt, unless specified, the storage temperature of the emulsion is the room temperature when the emulsion is made, the storage time is 5d, according to the need for 1d.

3 Methods and Steps
3.1 Preparations
3.1.1 Rinse the stability test tube with solvent (gasoline available), lotion and clean water respectively and put it in the oven at 105±5℃ to dry. after cooling, plug the outlet of the upper and lower branch pipes with plugs.
3.1.2 Filter about 300ml of uniform emulsified asphalt sample into the sample container through a 1.18mm filter.
3.2 Test Procedure
3.2.1 Mix the filtered emulsion sample with a glass rod and slowly inject it into the stability test tube until the liquid level reaches the 250ml mark on the tube wall. When injecting, attention should be paid to the branch pipe without bubbles. Then, plug the mouth of the pipe with a plug.
3.2.2 Put the closed stability test tube in the test tube holder and let it stand at room temperature for 5 days and nights. during the standing process, always observe whether the emulsion has delamination, precipitation or discoloration, and record and record the changes in room temperature (maximum and minimum temperature) within 5 days. When the emulsion produced is used up within 5 days, the sample stored for stability test can also be left for one day and night (24h).
3.2.3 let stand back gently pull out the plug nozzle, from the branch hole sample about 50 g, access to an already says the quality of evaporation residue test container, again pull open the mouth of the branch pipe plug, will the branch pipe mouth above all of the sample flow, flow into another container, then stir fully under the nozzle of the following sample, slope stability, about 50g of the remaining sample in the tube will flow out of the lower branch pipe mouth and be connected to the third evaporation residue test container of measured mass.
3.2.4 the mass of the upper and lower parts of the sample was weighed to an accuracy of 0.2g, and then the evaporation residue contents PA and PB were measured according to T 0651 "Emulsified asphalt evaporation residue content Test method" in this procedure.
4 calculation
the storage stability of emulsified asphalt was calculated as follows, and its absolute value was taken as follows:

PB - evaporation residue content of lower branch pipe part samples after storage, %.
5 report
5.1 the same sample was tested in parallel for at least two times, and when the difference between the two measurements met the precision requirements of repeatability test, the average value was taken as the test result and expressed as an integer.
5.2 the test report shall indicate the temperature range and storage time of emulsion storage.
6. Precision or tolerance difference
the allowable difference of repeatability test was 0.5%. the allowable difference for the reproducibility test was 0.6%.
