EDI is an emerging membrane separation technology, the core of which is to use ion exchange resin as the carrier of ion migration and cation and anion exchange membrane as the separation interface. as the separation interface, under the action of DC electric field, the ions in the water migrate in a directional manner, thus achieving the process of salt and water separation.

Scope of application:
EDI device is generally placed after the electrodialysis or reverse osmosis device (or directly applied to water with low salt content), can replace the ion exchanger to further desalinate the water can produce higher purity water, widely used in electronics, chemical, pharmaceutical, atomic energy, electric power and other industries.
