Castable, also known as refractory castable, is a kind of granular and powdery material made of refractory materials with a certain amount of binder, with high fluidity, and shaped by pouring.

Compared with other amorphous refractories, binder and moisture content is higher, fluidity is better, so the range of application of castables is wider, the material and binder can be selected according to the conditions of use. It can be directly poured into the lining, and can be used to make prefabricated blocks by pouring or shaking.
