the new program, called the Pre-Export Compliance Certification Program (PVoC), started on June 9, 2010, was suspended in October 2010, and restarted on December 3, 2012, but the restart was further delayed until June 1, 2013.

 

the Uganda PVOC project has been fully implemented since June 1, 2013. All shipment batches containing controlled products should have a certificate of compliance as the certificate of compliance is a mandatory requirement for customs clearance at Uganda ports to demonstrate that the product complies with applicable Ugandan technical regulations and mandatory or approved standards.

 

 

Standard of inspection

1, rated voltage: 220V or 240V; Frequency: 50Hz;

 

2. Product specifications in English are required;

3. the plug charger should conform to BS1363-1, BS1363-2 or BS546 standard. Electrical wiring plugs must conform to the above standards.

4. Products are required to bear the origin label "Made In China".

UG-PVoC certification process

Include the following key elements:

- Testing and evaluation in accredited laboratories;

- File compliance check;

-- Review the conformity of the test report with the standard

 

- Pre-shipment inspection of the goods;

There are three ways to get UG-PVoC certification:

Mode a): Inspection and testing of each lot (for infrequent export products)

Method b): Product registration, inspection and limited testing (for frequently exported products)

Mode c): Product approval (for products that are frequently and in large quantities exported)

Method of evaluation

in order to demonstrate that the product meets all the standards and technical requirements, the product must undergo one or a combination of the following evaluation methods:

Pre-ship inspection, factory audit, laboratory test, document review;
