Mode of Action

Fungicide with protectant, curative, eradicant, translaminar and systemic properties. Inhibits spore germination and mycelial growth, and also shows antisporulant activity.

 Precautions

 1. Azoxystrobin is extremely phytotoxic to certain apple varieties. 
 2. as a precaution Azoxystrbin should not be applied when there is a risk of spray drift onto neighbouring apple crops. Spray equipment used to apply this product to other crops should not be used to treat apples.

  Environmental Hazards

 Azoxystrobin is toxic to freshwater and estuarine/marine fish and aquatic invertebrates. Azoxystrobin can be persistent for several months or longer. 
 for terrestrial uses: Do not apply directly to water, or to areas where surface water is present, or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Drift and runoff may be hazardous to aquatic organisms in water   adjacent to treated areas. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwater or rinsate.
