Specifications
1. DEscription
Plug valves are forged from high quality alloy steel with heat-treatment, and can provide dependable service for applications such as cementing, fracturing, acidizing, coiled tubing and sand control, plug valves are available in three primary models in 1"2", 2" and 3" inch bore sizes for standard and reverse flow. these valves are available from 6,000 through 15,000 psi in both Standard and H2S service and can be made in a wide variety of popular end connections including union end, male and female line pipe threaded.
the ends of the plug valve can be connected by union or LP thread connection. All technical parameters and performance meet the specifications of API Spec 6A, with the product specification level being PSL3 and the performance level being PR1. the plug valves produced by our company can be interchanged with similar products in the cementing and fracturing equipment of SPM company.
2. OperationInstructions
1. SElect onlyAppropriate Plug valve for intendedService and check for properFunction;
2. NOt to mix or assembleComponentS, parts or endConnectionS withDifferent ratings;
3. NOt toStrike, tighten or loosenPressurizedComponents orConnections;
4. NOt to exceed the ratedWorking Pressure orTemperature Rating of plug valves;
5. NOt to use worn orerodeD valves;
6. NOt to replace sour gas valves with standardService components;
7. IF anyLeakage Is detected, remove plug valves fromService.
3. MAintenance
1) GRease valves after each use:
For standard tempErature (32℉ to 250℉) uSe P/N3256666; for low temperature (0℉ to 50℉) use P/N3251698
2) Grease valve in full open position until grease can be seenthrough the bore of the valve, cycle valve closed to openPosition and pump aLittle More grease into valve while valve is in the full openPosition;
3) RE-grease valvesImmediateLy after pumping solvents though them;
4) THoroughly flush valves with clean waterafter Each use to wash any cement or acids that may have been left in the valve if applicable;
5) SPray rustPreventative Oil over exposed threads on valve to prevent rusting duringStorage;
6) REplaceDamageD grease fittings to prevent leaks and to allow properGreasing of the valve;
7) DIsassemble plug valves and replace worn parts on a routine basis to preventCorrosion andErosion of the valve body and remove old grease.
