The RO (Reverse Osmosis) System The phenomenon of osmosis occurs when pure water flows from a dilute saline solution through a semi-permeable membrane into a higher concentrated saline solution. The direction of water flow through the membrane can be reversed when we give a pressure on the concentrated saline solution. This is the basis of the term reverse osmosis. The reversed flow produces pure water from the salt solution (usually tap water or well water). The RO System includes a set of membrane elements, housed in pressure vessels which are arranged in a certain manner. A high pressure pump is used to feed the pressure vessels. The RO system is a complete plant with an inlet for feed water and outlet for permeate and concentrate. RO system performance is typically characterized by two parameters, permeate (or product) flow and salt rejection. 1. Individual Rate: 0.5m3/hr---100m3/hr; 2. Desalinate Rate: ≥98%; 3. Running Pressure: 1.0MPa---1.8Mpa; 4. Recovery Rate: 60%---80%; Contact: Tianjin Xinya Purification Technology Co., Ltd.
