Life-prolonging: Herba GRA with concentration of 0.5%, 1%, 3% can prolong drosophila?s life. Herba GRA 12g (raw medicinal) /kg oral administered to mouse for 150days, mouses survival rate, conceptive rate and superoxide dismutase competence in blood serum are increased, and the content of malonyl dimethyl aldehyde and tissue brown pigment are reduced. 2.Healthy energy supporting and vacuity supplementing: Oral administration in dosage of 24g (raw medicinal) /kg and 12g/kg (i.e. 32 and 16 times of clinical dose) prolongs mouse natatory depletion time and improves its hypoxia tolerance.
