Pre-Production Inspection At the very beginning of the production process (not more than 5% produced), Intertek inspects raw materials and components. This ensures the function and appearance of the components are consistent and satisfactory to the requirements and specifications. The initial output from production line will be checked against the approved sample and specification. In the meantime, Intertek will give technical advice to the factory in order to improve the product quality so as to ensure the products will pass the During Production Inspection and Final Random Inspections. For Pre-Production Inspection, Intertek inspector will focus on checking the raw material available at the factory. With the approval sample provided by client, Intertek will counter check if the factory has ordered the right raw material, components and accessories for the ordered merchandise. To detect any potential defect, Intertek will randomly select a number of semi-produced products for checking and report our findings to client for reference.
