REUSABLE INCONTINENT PADS more commonly known as underpads. As the name implies, underpads are used by incontinent persons in home or hospital care. It?s main function is fluid containment to further promote good skin care, wicks fluid away from pressure areas to help skin drier. An underpad is comprised of three layers. One layer of the pad is made from polyvinyl chloride laminated to a knit man-made fiber fabric. The second layer is made from either 100% or polycotton blended woven fabric. Middle layer is made from polyester/viscose rayon nonwoven fabric. Quilt stitching extends through the second & middle layers. Edges are finished with an overlock stitch.
