The balancer is a voltage monitor for lithium batteries with a maximum charging voltage of 4.2V. the integrated controller has a precision reference for the exact measurement of the cell voltage. A current sink becomes active when the maximum voltage is reached, thus automatically balancing the individual cell voltages within a battery pack.
