Porta-Wand portable self-contained continuous vacuum system is designed to handle wafers. The tool is ESD and Class 1 cleanroom safe. Its vacuum system, which replaces tweezers and hose-style wands, uses no hoses and is battery-operated via an internal 9.6 V NiMH battery pack. Typical continuous run-time is three to four hours per charge. An indicator light displays battery condition and flashes when the battery is low. It includes a molded wafer tip; additional tips are available in several sizes.
