Interspectrum introduces its Interspec 300-X series of portable Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometers. These truely portable quality control and safety analyzers are designed for a variety of applications starting from standard laboratory measurements and ending with detecting and identifying hazardous substances in the field. The two models of the spectrometer are sensitive in the spectral range from 400 to 7000 cm-1 with the resolution 2 cm-1 (0.5 cm-1 will be available shortly) .One model (301-X) has an open infrared beam optical scheme capable for using any ordinary FTIR accessory in the 刼pen sample chamber? The other model (300-X) has inside integrated ATR, reflection and transmission accessories. The spectrometer is simple to operate and can withstand the temperature and vibration effects often found in out-of-laboratory environments. The instrument dimensions are 490x400x210 mm, and it weighs approximately 18 kg. The device can be interfaced easily either to a PC or laptop to obtain accurate and reliable results immediately on site.
