General Type D pump is single-suction, multi-stage, segmental centrifugal pump. It is widely used for water supply & drainage in fields of factory, mining and city. It is provided for delivering clear water without solid particles or other liquid which is physically and chemically similar to clear water. The temperature of the liquid is 0C~ 80C. Permissible maximum inlet pressure is 0.6Mpa. Example 2 D80-30*5 D-Single-suction, multi-stage, segmental centrifugal pump. 80-Inlet diameter of pump ( mm ). 30-Single-stage head of pump ( m ). 5-Stage number. Only type D80-30 can be indicated like this. Example 3 150D30*5 150-Inlet diameter of pump ( mm ). D-Single-suction, multi-stage, segmental centrifugal pump. 30-Single-stage head of pump ( m ). 5-tage number. Construction Type d pump is horizontal installed. The inlets of all other kinds are horizontal direction except type D16-16 pump with vertical inlet, and the outlets of all type D pumps are vertical. The axial thrust gets balanced with the help of balance disk. According to customers'' requirements, the shaft seal uses either packing seal or mechanical seal, though the former is usually adopted. Type D85-67, D155-67 pumps use sliding bearing which get lubricated with dilute oil, the others use rolling bearing which get lubricated with grease. The direction of rotation The rotation of the pump rotor is clockwise looking from the motor to the pump. The material of main parts of pump The medium-contacting parts are made of cast iron. Shaft is high-quality carbon steel No. 45.
