Muyu stone can improve the quality of water and adjust the PH value because its elements is in the dissociative state as ion.

While Muyu stone formed, the substance from the supercontinent deposited in the crystallizing field were more clay and soluble constituents but less fragmentary material. Clay particle in the sediments can absorb many kinds of ion including some benefit elements from the ambient medium. Therefore, it is no wonder that Muyu stone has so many kinds of elements which is benefit for body. But, not all fine-grained rock has these beneficial elements. It depends on the forming condition. If the structure, climate and landform are suitable and make the mother rock weathered and formed to be weathering crust, in which the rare earth minerals are broken down and split to be ion, it is possible to be collected.

Findings in experiment: Put the Muyu stone in distilled water adjusted by Hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide with the PH value 3.2 and 12.12 separately, hold on and mix round, PH value will turn to be neutral. Put 10g Muyu stone and 10g granite separately in to 200ml distilled water, mix round for 1 hour, PH value change to be 8.57 and 8.89, Ca2+, Mg2+, Al3+, Fe2+,Fe3+, Mn3+, Cr3+, B3+, K+ and Na+ can be test in the water by ICP. The water disposed by Muyu stone, except B3+, the consistency of all other ion is lower than the water disposed by granite, which means the ability for absorbing H+ by the skin of Muyu grain is weaker than granite. Under the scanning electronic microscope, Muyu grains depend on each other, including attraction and repulsion but the granite grains aggregate together with only attraction. The electric polarity of Muyu stone grain affects the oxidation-reduction potential of water, and adjusts the PH value to be neutral. The rise rate of the PH value about acidic solution made by H+ from absorption of both facade and ion exchange is faster than the decreasing rate of PH value about alkaline solution.
