CCA wire is a bimetallic wire with a copper cladding concentrically covering an aluminum core, which combines the optimum properties of both metals in a single composite material ideally suited for most electrical conductor applications. The processing method of CCA wire is similar to that of copper wire during cable manufacture. Because copper price is high and not stable, instead of copper wire, CCA has been used as inner conductor of various kinds of cables extensively such as coaxial cable, network cable, computer cable, telecommunication cable and so on.
