1. FORMULA: SnCl2 2H2O 2. PROPERTIES: Stannous Chloride, also known as Tin Dichloride, is a transparent or white crystal with relative density of 2. 710 and melting point of 37. 7 centigrade. Stannous Chloride will oxidize to Stannic Oxide on prolonged exposure in the environment. It can dissolve in alcohol, ethyl acetate and glacial acetic acid. It's also a reducing agent. If reacting with alkali, Stannous Chloride will form water and oxidative precipitate. When alkali is surplus, it will form soluble stannous acetate. 3. PACKAGE The goods will be packed in iron drums, wooden drums or plastic drums lined with plastic sheets, each containing 25kg, 30kg, 50kg or according to customer's requirement.
