BMW Tacho Writer V2006 CAS KM RESET (only E65/66 CAS WITH 0K50E by OBD2, BMW E65/66 NEW CAS by connector, BMW E60/E87/E90 CAS by connector) : Remove the dashboard from the car, connect the tool to the car's diagnosis socket (do not plug key), you will see the red led light up, push the yellow button, the green led light up, and for a while the green led black out, this means the CAS km has been reset to zero successfully. (If the green led becomes flashing, this mean the communication between the tool and the car failed, check the connection and repeat the above procedure.) EWS KM RESET : Connect the EWS-ADAPTER and EWS PCB as the picture shows, then plug EWS-ADAPTER to the Adapter-Connector of the main hardware, power on the tool with a 12V-DC regulator, you will see the red led light up, push the red button, the green led light up, and for a while the green led black out, this means the EWS km has been reset to zero successfully. --Yellow-Button is used to reset E65 CAS km --Red-Button is used to reset E38/E39/E46/E53 LCM and EWS km -- Led-Indicators are used to indicate the operating state (1)the red led indicate 'power on' (2)the green led indicate 'busy'and success' (3)the yellow led indicate 'USB connected' -- DB9-Male is used to connect the tool to the diagnosis socket of the car --Usb-Port is used to connect the tool to the computer for updating and M35080 progamming. -- Power-Connector is used to supply 12V-DC to the tool (center is +) -- Adapter-Connector is used to connect the tool to M35080-Adapter --M35080-Adapter is used to program M35080 chip (in-circuit programming) --EWS-Adapter is used to reset EWS through K-Line
