AHF2100 consists of a transmitter and a receiver module,in each of which one side is connected by embedding our creative multi-channel optical coupling mechanism and the other side is connected by short male HDMI copper cable.So,it is a plug to plug cable product,not requiring additional HDMI copper cable.The Transmitter and Receiver modules respectively have Optic is designed and manufactured 850nm VCSEL and PIN-PD arrays.AHF2100 is fully compatible with both HDMI and DVI.The AHF200 offers DDC/HDCP interconnection and power management over copper wire with the RGB ,CLOCK TMDS graphic data over four multi mode fibers. Power supply to optical modules AHF2100 uses and external AC/DC adapter in the transmitter side to enable the supply of +5V to the transmitter and receiver modules where the +5V A/V source power is judged to be inadequate or non-existent.If the graphic source can provide 500mA of +5V to pin 18,this AC/DC adapter is unnecessary.
