INTRODUCTION IRANIAN STANDARDS FOR BRICK: Brick, according to the definition of NO.7 of standard and industrial investigation of Iran institute is a kind of artificial product which is derived from molded clay . it must be mention that clay is mixture of water and soil. In standard 1162 of Standard Institute there is some explanation for the characteristics soil for manufacturing clay brick.
