In 2005, Yuanda Board Technology was invested and founded, with the full introduction of steel production equipment from Germany with high input and great access into the steel board industry. With an area of over 600 mu, a registered capital of RMB 60 million and more than 600 employees, it integrates research, production, and operation, has China’s most advanced seven production lines of pickling, cold-rolled board, hot-dip galvanized board, prepainted steel board, etc. And is one of the steel producers with the production capacity up to 1 million tons in North China. The galvanized board production line is the first to assort with finishing machine among China’s private enterprises, uses the most internationally advanced galvanizing process, and employs the Germany automatic DC and corrective control systems. It can produce the high-quality galvanized boards and aluminum-zinc foil boards 750mm – 1,250mm wide and 0.2mm - 0.12mm thick, with an annual 300,000 tons of quality hot-dip galvanized boards. To ensure stable production, the company, from 2008, invested and built the 800,000-ton pickling rolled coil production line, the 800,000-ton 20-roller precision cold-rolled board production line, and 400,000-ton prepainted coil production line, and formed the integrated industrial scale of “pickling - cold rolling - galvanizing - prepainting”. The company won such honorary titles as “2008 Boxing Advanced Unit of Major Project Construction”, “China’s Outstanding Private Technology Enterprise”, the provincial “Measuring Management Advanced Enterprise”, the provincial “AAA Bank Credit Unit”, Shandong “Contract-honoring & Promise-keeping Model Enterprise”, Binzhou “Contract-honoring & Promise-keeping enterprise”, and “Binzhou Advanced Enterprise”, and took the lead in passing the certifications of ISO9001, ISO14001, and OHSAS18001 among the peers.

In March 2010, Yuanda and an enterprise directly under central management - China First Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. entered into a strategic cooperation about the establishment of a new project with an annual output of 1 million tons. It is under the substantive construction and will be put into operation in October 2011. The project is the first to have the independent integration of full range of cold rolling equipment in Binzhou, and achieves the historic leap of board from the construction sector to the home appliances and automotive sectors.
