Jiangsu Danyang Feida Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. is situated at Feida Industrial Town of Danyang Gaoshiqiao Industrial Zone of Jiangsu Province, China, southwardnearing No. 101 provincial highway, northward by the Yangtze River, with convenient transportation of both land and waterway--the advantageous geographical position and the humanity environment. The first phase of the project (2, 500 medium-thickness plate) has an investment of RMB 650million yuan, with a designed annual productivity of 1.2 million tons. Due to the internal overall management and the external quality image, at present the medium-thickness plate of Feida is well praised and recognized by the clients and has widespread influence in the entire East China area. In order to further speed up the step of advance, in July 2007, the company invests more RMB 1 billion yuan to construct the second phase of the project (2800 mm double-rack thick-plate rolling-machine production line), and the project is planned to complete for operation by the end of Aug. 2008. The product will cover the ship plate, the pressure vessel plate, the equipment-making plate and so on, which is in urgent needs in China. At that time. Feida shall achieve 3 million tons of producting energy. reaching the annual sales of RMB 12 billion yuan.

The Company has eight functional deparments, over 400 staff, of which 12 senior engineers, 60 above senior college, 40 professional managerial staff, with abundant technical force and advanced anagement level.

The Company possess over 50 sets of large-scale equipment as the heating furnace, the four-roller rolling mill, the straightening machine, the cutting machine and so on, with good performance and advanced configuration. And the four-roller rolling mill is equipped with the APC system. rolling seam display of computer and condition display, laser drawing and so on, and the key working procedure has the temperature monitoring facility. In order to guarantee the product performance, the Company has also equipped nearly 20 sets of various inspection and test equipment.

On July 1, 2007, No. 1 pier of Feida's own port, with a total investment of 60 million yuan, open comprehensively for navigation. The No. 1 pier of Feida's own port is constructed by Feida Group so as to solve the teansportation of medium-thickness plate and to reduce the product cost. It connects the Yangtze River through the Jiuqu River, ending the history of Feida's transportation for medium-thickness plate from Changzhou port or Zhenjiang port. Now, each month there will be at least 200 ships entering into and going out of the port. It is estimated that 15 million yuan of expense might be cut down for the Company every year.
