Established in July 2004 Sino-Foreign Joint Venture Hefei Zijin Steel Tube Manufacturing is specialized in the developing and manufacturing the large-diameter thick-wall straight-seam Longitudinally Submerged Arc Welded (LSAW) tubes. It is the member of China Steel Construction Society and Shanghai Metal Construction Industry Society. Meanwhile, it also enjoys the honor of the priority construction items unit of "861 Plan" of Anhui province, the High & New Technology enterprise of Anhui Province and the Experimental Unit of Technology Innovation in Hefei. The company has been awarded certificates of ISO9001-2000, API and BV (Bureau Veritas Certificate).
  The company locates in the Baohe Industrial Area of Hefei and covers a land area of 330 acres. Among 300 employees, more than 90 per cent graduated from university or technological academy including 100 or so professional technicians. At present, the company possesses two product lines of JCOE forming mode, one is for LSAW steel pipes applied in oil & gas pipeline, the other is for construction-using pipe; moreover, there are several sets of roller machines. The annual production capability can reach 100,000 tons, and the products are widely applied in pressure pipeline (Conveying petroleum, natural gas and coal slurry), steel construction (Steel tube & concrete, piles, joist frame structure) and machinery roller-making, etc.
  The Technology Research Center consists of Mechanics Laboratory, Chemical Laboratory, Metallographic Test Laboratory and Welding Laboratory, etc. Under the leadership of authoritative specialists in tube-making rank who enjoy the special allowance of the State Council, the technology team has established cooperation with many experts in this field and some scientific research institute as well. All the above ensures the advanced manufacturing technology and high quality.
