Yangzhou MAXTONE Composite Co., Ltd. (briefly referred as " MTC" ) was originally a foreign-owned enterprise which was held by MaxiTRANS Industries Limited, an Australian Company. In November 2018, 100% equity of MTC has been acquired by Zhejiang Wazam New Material Co., Ltd and it has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wazam.

MTC is a professional Chinese manufacturer of FRP composites, very large scale, with advanced technology in making refrigerated and insulated FRP composite panels, FRP sheets as well as dry freight FRP composite panels. MTC has been awarded the High-tech Enterprise status in Jiangsu province, also Foreign-invested Advanced Technology Enterprise.

MTC was founded in November 1996 and commenced production in July 1997. In December 2013, MTC was relocated integrally from No. 8, Weiyang Road, Yangzhou Development Zone to No. 7, Xinyi Road, Weiyang Development Zone, Yangzhou. the new plant covers an area of 53,292 square meters, of which the building area is 18,000 square meters. the first phase construction production capacity is 600,000 square meters of composite panels per year with 130 employees.

MTC introduced advanced equipment and technology from America, Australia and Sweden for the production of refrigerated and insulated composite panels as well as dry freight composite panels. It mainly uses FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastics) sheet as the surface and hard polyurethane foam, XPS foam, waterproof phenolic plywood and plastic honeycomb panels as cores, all bonded together under special process. The advantages of the panels are: light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, aging resistance, ease of repair, glossy appearance and excellent thermal insulation, as well as long life. MTC not only has the capacity in manufacturing composite panels by using full size aluminum and stainless steel sheet as surface sheets, but also can produce colorful composite panels to customers' requirement. The international patent technology of modulus sections is adopted to the assembly with the advantages of high structural strength, good sealing performance and simple installation.

MTC can make refrigerated and insulated composite panels as well as dry freight panels up to 16.5m in length and 3.0m in width. The refrigerated and insulated panels are mainly utilised in refrigerated and insulated truck vans, multi-functional movable and stationery motel bodies, oilfield special truck bodies, special communication and power truck bodies, caravans and military cabinets, etc. The dry freight panels are mainly used in different kinds of medium and high-grade truck vans, stage show trucks and wing bodies etc.

MTC uses an advanced continuous skin line to produce FRP sheets which are of high strength, corrosion resistance, aging resistance, glossy appearance, excellent thermal insulation and uniform thickness. Its thicknesses range from 1.5mm to 3.5mm, maximum width is 3.0m, and each roll is 60-100m as recommendation.

To date more than 100 truck body builders from over 20 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across China have utilised our composite panels to build high-grade dry freight truck bodies, refrigerated and insulated truck bodies and special vehicles etc. Our composite panels such as China Post green, SF black and Deppon Express blue are visible everywhere in the logistic fields. Our products have also been sold to more than 20 countries and regions such as Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, America, England, France, Middle East, Middle Asia and Africa.
