The company is one of the earliest bus manufacturers in China, which was built and put into use in 1969, then it was invested by the staff of the former Bus Refit Factory of Yantai Automobile Conveyance Group, and united Yantai Automobile Conveyance Group to realize the reformation of company system in March 2002, then Yantai Shuchi Vehicle Co., Ltd. was established.

The registered capital of the company is 58.98 million yuan. It covers an area of 0.13 million square meters and a construction area of 58 thousand square meters. We establish a new streamline in the Laiyang Industrial Area, which can produce 6000 high grade and intermediate buses per year, which means the company, has reached the leading level of Chinese bus industry.

The design of Shuchi bus has realized from idea to planar to three-dimensional, and then the speed and quality of development are improved. At present, Shuchi brand has 3 big series, more than 60 types of large, mediate, small, high grade, intermediate and general highway bus, travel bus and city bus. The products are from 6 meters to 13.7 meters, including diesel bus, CNG bus and dual fuel bus. Because of the great variety of goods and the good cost performance, Shuchi bus develops the foreign market at the same time of broadening the domestic market. The products have been exported to Russia, Algeria, New Zealand and Thailand.
