Our company was established in 1992 and began production in a 1000 square meters rented facility in Shenyang. In the following 5 years, our company was mainly served as the 3rd production plant for the state-owned Shenyang explosion-proof motors Ltd. By the end of 1997, it has developed to supply Y and YB series start from 80 to 200 frame size.

Today we supply over 600 accounts throughout the mainland China. Our AC motor line consisting of YB2; Y2, YKK, and YBF2 begins in the fractional frame sizes and extends to hundreds of horsepower. In addition, we produce specialty motors used in various hazardous environments. Our flame-proof AC motors are designed and certified to China national standards, not only granted the approval certificate of production by the Quality Assurance Bureau of China, but also certified by Mining Safety Assurance Bureau of China.

Our products are sold through 28 sales offices and warehouses in the mainland China, plus through agents and affiliates. Many of our sales offices and warehouses are linked by on-line computers to the factory and to each other, for fast delivery of standard and special motors to our customers. This IT effort has enabled us to maintain a leading position in the NORTH-EAST region of China for electric motor sales.

In fact,we supply electric motors to over 25 different basic industries. The types of motors are even more diverse. In the past, many customers were content to buy fairly standard products. In today's competitive world, many of these same customers require motors tailored to their specific products with as much value added by SUNLEAD as possible. This includes special paints, shafts, castings, cords and plugs, special electrical characteristics and other custom features. SUNLEAD's success today, as in the early years, continues to be our response to customer needs and wants.
Our distributor business, which primarily involves stock motors, motor parts, provides a valuable marketing link to reach the end-user, small OEM and replacement markets. Our distributors include sales office, agents and industrial supply houses. A growing distributor network is vital to our continued success, and we are continually searching for new business partners in this area.
