Shanxi Wenshui Xinghua Chemical Co., Ltd., founded in 1990, is the predecessor of Baijin Group. The Group moved its headquarters to the international metropolis – Shanghai on August 8, 2005.

For more than one decade, Baijin Group’s main business has been carbon disulfide production. Through upgrading and improving its industrial structure to extend production scale as required by the market, it has emerged as a conglomerate combining R&D, production and marketing in such fields as chemical engineering, coal, foundry, transportation. Its eight subsidiaries, namely Shanxi Jinxinghua Chemical Co., Ltd., Chongqing Xingfa Golden Crown Chemical Co., Ltd., Sichuan Yibin Golden World Chemical Co., Ltd., Chongqing Jinping Chemical Co., Ltd., Shanxi Wenshui Jinyu Transportation Co., Ltd., Shanxi Wenshui Jinding Foundry Co., Ltd., Shanxi Jindi Coal Coke Co., Ltd., and Shanxi Jiaocheng Jin’an Coal Mine Co., Ltd., were recently joined by another three newly-established subsidiaries, i. e. Anhui Xuancheng Jinhong Chemical Co., Ltd., Hubei Xiangfan Jinyuanli Chemical Co., Ltd., and Shandong Gaomi Jinyue Chemical Co., Ltd.

Currently, Baijin Group is the largest carbon disulfide producer in domestic market that holds such manufacturing techniques at the same time as Charcoal Method, Coke Method, Natural Gas Method and New-type Technique as well and boasts an annual production capacity of 150, 000 tons. With a nation-wide marketing network, the Group takes pride in the highest market penetration rate of its products.

Baijin Group has been focusing on indigenous innovation and relying on technical strength. We hold 14 state invention patents in carbon disulfide production. The achievements in our research to replace charcoal with coke not only represent breakthroughs in China and the world but they sparked a revolution in the field of carbon disulfide production worldwide. Our investment in independent R&D of New-type Technique, the latest move of our innovation drive, has been rewarded as tests are successfully accomplished and the industrialization promotion is kicked off.

We’ll adhere to the road of sustainable growth. With the headquarters relocated to Shanghai, we will make full use of advantages in information, technology, market, and personnel afforded by Shanghai as an international financial center and secure our foothold in east China to operate business in central and west regions. We aim to tap into regional resources, optimize the business layout, and improve the industrial chain of cyclic economy. Specifically, we expect to construct an industrial chain of coal chemistry-based economy to exploit coal reserves in central regions (Shanxi) and an industrial chain of gas chemistry-based economy to utilize natural gas resources in west regions (Chongqing and Sichuan). Our strategic goal is to develop the Group into a flagship of the carbon disulfide industry and the strongest player among domestic and international competitors that attaches weight to technology, safety and corporate cultures while showing respect to environmental protection and energy conservation. The goal requires full-scale efforts but will take us closer to the completion of our historic mission – Lay a long-lasting foundation, forge a golden brand.
